Public scoping for an environmental assessment (EA) on a plan to improve telecommunications in the park is open for 15 days; comments are due by March 9, 2020.
The proposed action would correct deficiencies in radio, phone, and computer or data-based communications that support park operations and would also develop guidelines for connectivity in developed areas for non-governmental end-users.
Winter Carnival to Ski joring and all the Fun In-Between
Winter Fest kicks off with Winter Carnival with the Cardboard Classic and is a showcase of all things winter in Red Lodge. Bring the entire family for a variety of events throughout the week including The Monster Dog Pull, crowning of the King and Queen, live music, shopping deals, a moonlight cross country ski, activities at the Yellowstone Wildlife sancturary and much more. This week of fun is capped off with the thrilling National Finals Ski Joring competition and a chili cookoff.
Incumbent Worker Training is an employer-sponsored program
that provides grant funding to assist eligible Montana small businesses
offset the cost of training for their existing (incumbent) workers.
