Someone asked me today if there were any Black Old Masters
WELL I DONT KNOW!!! so it got me looking.
Is this SOOOOO perfect in honor of Black History Month?

- Learning Segment: We will learn about Laura Wheeler Waring, her life, her art & her models
- A sketch: Capturing the bare essentials using what we've learned in January with BASIC SHAPE SHORTCUTS & sketch notes.
- A color study just mixing and placing the colors where they go
- A painting For those who wish, a finished painting. Some may wish to draw, use pencils, markers, pastels, collage or any medium you are most comfortable in.
I will be using a 9x12 Stillman Birn Archival Sketchbook so painting will be small. Consider size when voting!
