Hello Hudson Farmers' Market Friends!

WELCOME to the 2020 Hudson Indoor Farmers Market! We are so very happy to bring you all the quality and variety that you have come to expect from us over the years. We have some local news, plus a delicious recipe idea for your Sunday!

Sparrowbush Farm
NY NEWS! The statewide ban on plastic (carryout) bags is going into effect this Sunday-- March 1st! Many of you are phenomenal about bringing your reusable bags to market each week and we thank you.
Blue Star Farm
As an effort to encourage their use last year, we showcased pictures of overflowing bags/carriers/wagons we found at market through this very newsletter! As a result, many of our vendors said they distributed less bags last season than in years past.
Cedar Flower Farm
LOCAL NEWS! Oakdale Plunge is happening on Saturday-- Leap Day! We know many who will be spectators AND participant. More power to those brave-hearted enough to take the plunge into those frigid waters. We have some food to warm you up afterwards!
Churchtown Gardens
Sunday Lunch Idea: Roasted Purple and Gold Potatoes with Spinach Pesto and Whipped Feta
Here's a warm idea for post-plunge! Oven roasted potatoes dipped in a spinach pesto and Ardith Mae's whipped feta! You can find spinach at Blue Star Farm and the potatoes at The Farm at Miller's Crossing. This was perfectly satisfying for a Sunday afternoon lunch!
Farm at Millers Crossing
Here's our weekly line up:
Blue Star Farm, Rock N Raw, Sparrowbush Farm, Happy Belly, Cedar Farm Flowers, Roadhouse Roasters, Trixie's Oven, Alima's West African Cusine, Gina's Empanadas, Ardith Mae, A Fine Feast, Billy's Italian Market, Farm at Miller's Crossing, Churchtown Gardens, Northern Star Farm, Berkshire Mountain Bakery, Martins Farm, Samascott Orchard, Red Oak Farm, and Mei's Dumplings.
Wild Roots
Our guest vendors include:
Wild Roots (featured above), Asia Luna, Joy Newton Designs (featured below), 1857 Spirits, and the Girl Scouts!
Joy Newton Designs
You can find us at the Hudson Elks Lodge at 601 Union Street from 10am to 1pm! We'll have Rick and Marilyn performing some classic folk and rock covers that feature their delightful range and Marilyn's wonderful voice!

We are so excited and can't wait to see you all THIS Saturday! Remember to bring your reusable bags and bright faces ❤❤
