Spring has SPRUNG at the Hudson Farmers Market! If you get to market early enough you'll be able to find things like PLANTS, STRAWBERRIES, RHUBARB, LETTUCE, and EGGS.
DOWN TO BUSINESS:
1: Many of our vendors are offering pre-order pickups through their websites and social media pages. THIS is your best way to secure what you want at market AND grab-n-go.
2: We encourage our OLDER and IMMUNE-COMPROMISEDcustomers to shop with us during the morning hours. 9AM and 10AM is our SLOWEST time-- this is when we think it would be safest for you!
3: AlmostALL OF YOU are doing your part to help us be a SAFE SPACE for our community (attention outliers: you really need to wear masks when you come shopping; if too much of this happens WE have to answer to the CITY and possiblyfaceshutdown)
4: The newsletter will mostly be devoted to reminding you of the PRECAUTIONS and PROTOCOLS we MUST follow in order to continue operating. We will be sneaking in some extra special info from time to time about what you can find weekly from various vendors and recipes we love!
5: SNAP/EBT is back! Head over to the Scarecrow Farm tent to use the machine.
For Mother's Day we made a delicious Italian lemon almond cake. We made a few substitutions: blood oranges instead of lemon and duck eggsfromNorthern Star Farm instead of chicken eggs. If you haven't baked with duck eggs, you areSERIOUSLY missing out on something special.
The fat content helps cakes rise higher, taste richer, and have a fluffier texture. They are AMAZING!
Trixie, known for the most delicious cookies in town, just launched a website for all of Hudson's happenings. This site is meant to be a searchable, one-stop-shop to find all the goings-ons in town.
It's like taking the normal conversations we hear at Trixie's stand and digitizing them! This is a HUGE service to the community and we thank you.
Township Valley is officially back at market! They will have a gorgeous selection of mushrooms-- oysters, shiitakes, tinctures, and CBDoils. They will set up in the St John's Church lot, in between Churchtown Garden and Raven & Boar.

Market is now operating in TWO SPOTS-- the municipal lot at 6th and Columbia Street AND the metered lot behind St Johns Church (just a bit down the block). Hours are 9AM to 1PM! Reminder: you can line up before 9AM, but we can't start selling until then.
