Market Updates for Saturday October 3rd It's been a glorious week and our farmers have been busy harvesting fall crops. Here are a few of the special things you'll find at market tomorrow:
*Plum Frangipane bar at Happy Belly, made with plums from Bonhomie Farm (pictured below). They sell out fast, so be sure to get to market early!
*Bonhomie is harvesting more plums this afternoon to bring to market. Try them in this classic plum torte recipe. *Atina Foods will have a Cauliflower Toran (traditional Kerala, South Indian vegetable dry fry with coconut and spices) with turmeric and fenugreek Roti. *Raven & Boar's weekly sausages are Poblano Chili (pictured below) and Sweet Italian & Greens, made with broccoli raab and garlic scapes.
Market Locations and Time The Hudson Farmers Market has divided its vendors between two spots to provide ample space for social distancing. Please be sure to visit both locations!Market hours are 9AM to 1PM. Please swing by our new info tent in the lower market to pick up a market map, use your EBT card and snag seasonal recipes.
Guest Vendors at Market this week Our guest vendors are located in the lower market (St Johns lot). Offline is back again this week. It's the project of local Hudson resident Peter Olivier who makes beautiful, durable, waxed cotton market bags. Asia Luna Soap is one of our favorite returning vendors, bringing their handmade soaps, bubbles, lip balms and beauty products.
SAFETY PROTOCOLS AT MARKET
Masks are required at market for all customers and vendors. This is for our vendors safety as well as yours
Please remember to keep 6 feet apart while shopping and waiting in line. Our vendors are doing the best they can to keep lines organized and moving quickly.
Eating and drinking is not allowed at market. Please save your treats until you get home.
There are hand sanitizer stations in both market locations, next to the porta johns.
The slowest time at market is 9am to 10am. We encourage any high-risk customers to shop during that time.
Most importantly, if you are feeling sick, please stay home.

Using your SNAP benefits are market You can use your EBT card at market like you would any store. Go to the info tent and swipe your card, choosing any amount you like. We'll give you wooden tokens that can be used to purchase food with any of our vendors. For Every $5 of SNAP benefits that you use at market you will receive a $2 Fresh Connect coupon that can be used with any of our food vendors. The EBT machine is at located at the new info tent in the lower market (St Johns lot).
