Hello Hudson Farmers' Market Friends!
WELCOME to the 2020 Hudson IndoorFarmersMarket! We are so very happy to bring you all the quality and variety that you have come to expect from us over the years.
Happy Valentine's Day! We hope you're interested in extending the sweetest of all holidays through this weekend, because we certainly have the best giftsto shower the ones you love.
We're not sure which is more coveted during the doldrums of the season: a beautiful bouquet of flowers or a beautiful medley of fresh greens. Either way, their brightness will help thaw your winter-hardened hearts.
So we can all agree that there is nothing more romantic than your love knowing that you are thinking of them all of the time-- you are like two peas in a pod (or in an out-of-season figurative replacement, two apples in side-by-side crates!).
Why not grab some goodies to cater to your sweetie all weekend?!
We're thinking you can start the morning off with a delicious bagel dog or an intricate croissant. Something that you can tear and share... note, you will definitely score points by giving your love the bigger half!
Then plan an early afternoon activity: KNITTING! Unconventional, we know--but it can be an extension of the story you're weaving together. It can represent the strength of your bonds. Plus whatever you create will help keep you both warm on these cold, cold nights!
Definitely prepare a simple dinner of locally made sauce and pasta! Grab some ground beef for meatballs or pork sausage to make it a heart-ier meal.
Maybe a lighter dinner is what will keep the flames of passion ablaze! Consider this recipe for a simple avocado dressing to top your wonderful lettuces. Or, this recipe for braising chard-- which can work with any of the cooking greens you'll find at market this weekend.
Top off your lovely evening with a treat infused with a lot of love! Trixie's chocolate love chips areclassic and delicious. The cap on a perfectly perfect day!
