"If this is coffee, please bring me some tea; but if this is tea, please bring me some coffee." Abraham Lincoln

Hello Hudson Farmers' Market Friends!

WELCOME to the 2020 Hudson Indoor Farmers Market! We are so very happy to bring you all the quality and variety that you have come to expect from us over the years.

On this President's Week, we hope you share Abe Lincoln's sentiments about his morning cup-- the stronger the better (also what a Monday he must have been having!)! We'll have delicious roasts available from Rough House Roasters this weekend! They source their beans from Columbia, Costa Rica, Tanzania, Mexico, and more. Plus they'll have freshly brewed cups available to warm yourself while you do your weekend shopping!
Look at its shape! Look at its color! Honestly the sweet bit of drama that comes with Veronica (aka speedwell) is well worth sticking in your bouquets and vases. These are available by the stem with Cedar Flower Farms-- add them to your hyacinth, anemone, and tulip bunches!
Throwing elbows is not necessary when trying to grab your greens! Blue Star Farm and Sparrowbush Farm will have bags and bundles of fresh veg for you to fawn (not fight!) over. They will have everything from kale to microgreens, Asian mixes to rainbow chard, and so much more!
Churchtown Gardens will have their incredible gluten free (and gluten full!) mushroom pot pies and chicken pot pies. Have you ever indulged in one of these post-market? They are heavenly-- truly! And, get there first thing, because they typically sell out!
Churchtown Dairy and Cooperstown Cheese will be rep-ed by Rock N Raw! Lynn will be available to talk up all the different styles and varieties of cheese she brings, plus she'll be slicing as the orders come! If you're interested in trying one, don't be afraid to ask for a little taste. Believe us when we say you will not be disappointed to see what treasures the local cheesemakers have produced!
Make sure you grab an incredible loaf from Berkshire Mountain Bakery. In case you don't have a chance to eat the entire bread in one sitting-- not usually our problem since we immediately finish what we buy-- we thought we would share a compilation from Epicurious detailing how to use stale bread! Such great ideas on ways to extend the life of an already rocking loaf.
Here's our weekly line up:
Blue Star Farm, Rock N Raw, Sparrowbush Farm, Happy Belly, Cedar Farm Flowers, Roadhouse Roasters, Trixie's Oven, Alima's West African Cusine, Gina's Empanadas, Ardith Mae, A Fine Feast, Billy's Italian Market, Farm at Miller's Crossing, Churchtown Gardens, Northern Star Farm, Berkshire Mountain Bakery, Martins Farm, Samascott Orchard, Red Oak Farm, and Mei's Dumplings.
Our guest vendors include:
Olde York Distillery, Willow Pond, Curious Chocolates, and JK Wood.
You can find us at the Hudson Elks Lodge at 601 Union Street from 10am to 1pm! We'll have Roger and Lenny performing familiar tunes with their signature tight harmonies and acoustic arrangements!

We are so excited and can't wait to see you all THIS Saturday! Remember to bring your reusable bags and bright faces ❤❤
