ERC: easy access to project information; OAPEN-De Gruyter framework agreement
European Research Council and OAPEN

Happy holidays from OAPEN!

We would like to thank all our partners and publishers for working with us and we wish you all the best for 2020!

Easy access to information on ERC-funded research projects

The OAPEN Library has added a simple way to access all relevant information about ERC-funded research projects. The landing page of all books and chapters that are the result of ERC-funded research contain two extra buttons.

The first button opens the relevant documentation in the CORDIS database in a separate web page. The second button finds all documents in the OAPEN Library that are connected to the same grant.

An example is the book Poetics and Politics : Net Structures and Agencies in Early Modern Drama, where you can click these buttons:  and

Result of the OAPEN-De Gruyter framework agreement on ERC-funded research publications

Last summer, the OAPEN Foundation and De Gruyter announced their framework agreement on good practice for retroactive open access to books and chapters resulting from research funded by the European Research Council (ERC) under the 7th EU Research Framework Programme (FP7). The framework agreement between De Gruyter and the OAPEN Foundation supports authors by establishing compliance with the "best effort" requirement to make publications open access.

As a direct result of the agreement, 110 publications (24 books and 86 chapters) resulting from ERC-funded research have been added to the OAPEN Library collection.

All publications by De Gruyter connected to ERC-funded research can be found here.
