SEMESTER EXAM

INFORMATION
Important Things to Note:

1. All students are required to take all exams on campus during the scheduled times. If there are concerns of COVID risks, please make arrangements with the teachers to take exams on campus at a different time. 

2. Each exam day begins one hour later than normal (9:00am). School doors will be open at 7:30am.

3. Wednesday and Thursday dismiss one hour earlier than normal (2:00pm) and Friday dismissal is at 11:55am.

4. Seniors: your English 12 exam will take place during Period 6. During Period 4B, you will go to Mrs. Sorn’s room for study hall. 

Semester Exam Guidelines/Reminders 

 

  • All students are required to take all exams on campus during the scheduled times. 
    If there are concerns of COVID risks, please make arrangements with the teachers to take exams on campus at a different time. 

  • If a student does not have an exam during the first or last period, that student may arrive late or leave campus early, but a parent signature is required on the front side of this paper. 

  • Testing periods are 75 minutes long. Due to the social distancing guidelines this year, you must remain in the classroom for the duration of the testing period. Bring along extra work or study materials when you go to your exams so that you have something to work on if you finish early. No one is allowed the leave the classroom for any reason during testing. 

  • All exams will take place during their normally scheduled class period, with the seniors having one exception: 

  • Seniors: your English 12 exam will take place during Period 6. During Period 4B, you will go to Mrs. Sorn’s room for study hall. 

  • With very few exceptions, required classes will all have exams, and elective classes may or may not have an exam. Your teacher will tell you what is expected. 

  • Exam days are considered normal days of school, and as such, you are expected to follow the school dress code on exam days. 

  • If you are at school during a study hall or a class that does not have an exam, report to the normal classroom where you have that study hall or class. 

  • If you plan to return the form in order to be excused from a class that is not testing, or from a study hall, you must return it to Mrs. Sorn or Mrs. Wosje by Tuesday, January 12. If you do not return the signed form, it is expected and required that you will be in attendance during all periods of each testing day.
