Fall is Calling

Do you gain energy this time of Year?  I sure do.

Fall marks the beginning of the year for me.  It's a time when school begins and I'm jazzed about learning new techniques and starting projects before the holidays make creating a task rather than an experience.  It's now (almost) sweater weather and mine will be coming out of the storage bin soon and the summer clothes will be retired.

If you are of a like mind, there are several events coming soon. (see more below)  And if you need a push, our Wednesday morning 9-11 and Thursday evening 5-7 social gatherings give you time that you can set aside for your projects.

Happy Crafting

Two Events September 18
Yarn Tasting and Color Theory Class

We are super excited about the upcoming visit from Cascade Yarns Owner and designer Shannon Dunbabin this Sunday September 18th

Shannon will be giving us two programs.

Cascade Color Class 10am-12pm $15.00
Gain confidence in selecting colors as Shannon explains how color can be used to its best effects.  You’ll be working with Cascade Yarns Nobel Cotton and a color wheel to learn the basics of color theory in this hands-on exploration of the basics of color theory.  By the end of the class, you will have the basics for selecting and using colors for your next project.  We have limited space for this program, so signup early.   Materials are included.  Sign up now!   The class fee will be applied to purchase of any Cascade Yarn in stock the day of the class.

Sampling with Shannon 1pm-3pm $15.00
You get to try current and new yarns from the large variety that Cascade Yarns has to offer.  Shannon will give you insight into more about the fibers used in Cascade yarns and how and where they are made.  We’ll have door prizes and of course, fun!  More about the specific yarns in the tasting later.  Signup on the website for this free event.  We have limited space for this program, so signup early. Sign up now!  The class fee will be applied to purchase of any Cascade Yarn in stock the day of the class.
