As we march into April, we are taking you to a musical journey through the best sounds from Africa and beyond, cutting through South Africa, Nigeria, Germany and the US. While Teni shines in her debut album, Prince Kaybee allows other stars to shine in his fourth studio album with Eazi giving us completely 'Something Else' in his latest EP. Mavin's latest 18 year old signee has got her star shining bright as Apple Music spotlights her on Africa Rising. Let's dive in, as we sign into TuneCore! The leading independent digital music distribution company just launched operations in Africa.

Teni takes us to 'WONDALAND' in debut album

Teni The Entertainer's new album is a masterpiece, crafted over two years across seven cities around the world: London, New York, Dubai, Orlando, Ondo, Lagos and Abuja. Our favourites off the 17-track compilation include "Moslado," Dads Song", "Hustle" and her latest single and the only collaboration in the album “For You” featuring Davido. The lone guest collaboration has so far garnered over 14M streams while charting across countries and various platforms.  The album chronicles Teni's labor of love while exuding a rollercoaster of emotions, from start to finish. It's certainly a milestone release from one of Nigeria's most exciting young artists.

Prince Kaybee sets new world order with 'The 4th Republic'

Seasoned South African DJ and music producer Prince Kaybee released a new album featuring a star-studded cast across 24 tracks. 'The 4th Republic' caters for all occasions through a kaleidoscope of sonic experiences. It showcases his sophistication as a producer in molding instrumentals around the vocals and production styles that seamlessly compliment his collaborators. Check out the album's lead single ''Ebabayo'' feat. Nokwazi, Barack Obama's personal favourite "Uwrongo" and our recommendation: "Umenitosha" feat. Kenyan singer Polaris.
