We are taking off to Capetown and Washington DC, thanks to Nasty C and Ari Lennox in their new "Black and White" video, off Rhythms of Zamunda: Music Inspired by the upcoming Coming 2 America film. "Black and White" tapped as lead single off Rhythms of Zamunda 

South African Hip Hop superstar Nasty C and American R&B singer Ari Lennox defied space and time this Valentine’s, capturing the excitement of new found love in the music video of “Black and White". The video shot between Cape Town and Washington DC is off Nasty C's ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’ album. Fans described it as one of the most impactful collaborations on the project. Well, true to their insights, the single is the lead single off ‘Rhythms of Zamunda’, Music Inspired By Coming 2 America. Watch "Black and White” music video here

Djooky song contest is back!

Only 1 day left to get into the biggest global music competition, The Djooky Song Contest—backed by world-recognized platinum producer, Brian Malouf (Michael Jackson, Queen, Pearl Jam). It’s now open to all music genres from African artistes across the continent, including from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Cote d'Ivoire. Winner gets $10,000 and an all-expense-paid trip recording session at Capitol Recording Studios in LA.  
Runner up will get a $5,000 cash prize and the third prize winner will pocket a cash prize of $2,000. The deadline for submissions is Feb 20th 2021. Full details of entry eligibility criteria and contest rules on their official website

South African House music producer and DJ, Prince Kaybee features Nokwazi in ‘‘Ebabayo’’, his first official single from the highly anticipated album ‘The 4th Republic’.  The star studded album will cater to every occasion wrapping emotions in every chord, guitar lick and baseline. Already released singles from the album is ‘‘Uwrongo’’ featuring Shimza, Black Motion and Ami Faku.   Apple Music launches Isgubhu

Apple Music has launched Isgubhu, the ultimate destination for African Dance and Electronic music. Isgubhu spotlights and elevates the work of the DJs, producers and artists in this space. Isgubhu, a Zulu word meaning beat and used to refer to a banging song, pays homage to an evergreen set of genres and the African artists who have played a pivotal role in shaping the Dance and Electronic scene across the world. They include South African maestros like Black Coffee, Prince Kaybee, Black Motion and DJ Lag, Kenyan producers Euggy and Slikback to Uganda’s prolific group Nihiloxica, among countless others.
