WEEK #20
14 to 20 Apr. 2020

These times can be characterized as sleepy. We may find ourselves yawning all the time. To help with it, we have prepared a selection of plans to keep active at home. A short film from Keith Haring's visit to Amsterdam, as part of his exhibition there back in the 80s. Leif, a talented electronic producer, was commissioned by the Barbican to create a soundtrack for an Andy Warhol set of screen tests, the results are gorgeous. The Boiler Room editorial film arm is producing an online shorts festival. Expect weird subjects and 90s nostalgia appealing for Gen Z's and Millenials alike, maybe fo you too! Electrónica en Abril will be in our hearts, this unmissable date of Madrid with the avant-garde is moving online, with a series of playlists created by the artists that would have been playing in the festival. A 1984 article for the New Yorker, chronicling the rise of graffiti. DJ Harvey is a legendary DJ, and this is the first official set he releases, it's completely worth it.

🌍 A cultural happening

📽 "Every week, we’ll live broadcast new films on 4:3. Some of the films will disappear, others will be available to playback for short windows of time. All of them will take you to places you’ve never been before."
