Spring Fundraiser – Wildflowers & History
A guided tour along the Historic Merced River Trail
Saturday April 8th
Led by local native flower expert, Doug Kranovich and historian Bill King, this is a unique opportunity to learn about our Sierra wildflowers and Merced River Trail history. An easy walk on the historic railroad grade, the tour will be approximately 2 miles round trip along a level path next to the wild and scenic Merced River. With stops for wildflowers and history stories along the way, we will tour for about 2 hours before returning for a delicious Mountain BBQ served along the river edge.
Tours begin at the Railroad Flat Campground, Briceburg Road, Mariposa County
Morning Tour: 8:30am - BBQ at 11:30am
Afternoon Tour: 1pm - BBQ at 4pm
*BBQ by Willow Creek Catering - Tri tip or roasted Portabella option
$75 per person.
