Spring Fundraiser – Wildflowers & History
A guided tour along the Historic Merced River Trail

Saturday April 8th

Led by local native flower expert, Doug Kranovich and historian Bill King, this is a unique opportunity to learn about our Sierra wildflowers and Merced River Trail history. An easy walk on the historic railroad grade, the tour will be approximately 2 miles round trip along a level path next to the wild and scenic Merced River. With stops for wildflowers and history stories along the way, we will tour for about 2 hours before returning for a delicious Mountain BBQ served along the river edge.
Tours begin at the Railroad Flat Campground, Briceburg Road, Mariposa County

Morning Tour: 8:30am - BBQ at 11:30am
Afternoon Tour: 1pm - BBQ at 4pm
*BBQ by Willow Creek Catering - Tri tip or roasted Portabella option

$75 per person.
Reservations are limited so purchase your tickets soon.

Spring Trail Tending is coming to a trail near you!

Another great way to get out into nature, is to join a trail crew. We are grateful for this winter’s rain and snow but all this weather is going to add new challenges to our trails. Crews will be starting with work clearing trails of down trees and debris and repairing washouts and water damage. Tending the land is at the core of our mission – “Providing trail access and promoting use for adventure, health, stewardship, education and community prosperity”.
