               St. George Island Art & Wine Splash Oct 9 - 11, 2020
celebrates art en plein air and will feature five accomplished painters who have won many awards, including as winners of last spring's SGI Paint Out plein air painting event. The weekend will include workshops on Friday, and painting on Saturday from Noon - 4 p.m. at the Art & Wine Splash - a fun way to get outdoors and enjoy art, music, food, wine and more - surrounded by the coastal beauty of St. George Island.  We are pleased to be a part of it by hosting a reception and one-day show for the artists on the following day.... 

                                     You're invited to join us
                           Sunday, October 11 from 3 - 5 p.m.
                    for an Artists' Reception on the front lawn.

                      Wine and light refreshments will be served.

         including paintings just completed the previous day at the Splash.

    For everyone's well-being, mask and social distancing guidelines will be observed.
                We will welcome ten guests at a time in the gallery; masks required.

Cory Wright has been painting professionally since her teen years, going on to earn a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work can be found in national and international private collections, as well as at her own art gallery/studio in historic Palmetto, Florida. Having traveled extensively throughout the world, Natalia Andreeva has  gathered incredible life experience that enriches her work in both oil and watercolor. Her paintings have been recognized with many honors, and are featured in multiple public and private collections.  Locally, she is represented by River's Edge Gallery.

With an extensive background in design,
Brenda Pinnick began practicing the art of plein air painting about ten years ago, and soon began winning awards in plein air competitions around the United States.  For Brenda, "landscapes offer endless opportunities to explore shapes, lines, color, value and depth."  She teaches both private and group classes, and is a frequent guest speaker at art gatherings in the Atlanta area.
