REMINDER!!! We will be reporting back on two recent powerful events, a rally for Central American Asylum Seekers at the Rock Island ICE detention center offices on Nov. 30th, and a meeting of the "Breaking the School-to-Prison Pipeline" group this last Tuesday. We will be sharing ideas and strategizing for 2019.  Please join us and offer your input. Thanks for all you do in the name of Social Justice in this Holiday Season and throughout the year.

 Next class starts March 4, 2019
 
This full-time, 13-week class will cover math, job/life skills, blueprint reading, OSHA, stick welding, construction equipment operation, shop time, and hands-on projects.

The Illinois Department of Transportation created this program to increase the number of minorities, women and disadvantaged persons working on IDOT projects. This program is at no cost to the participant..

HCCTP graduates are working in these trades: Carpenters, Laborers, Cement Masons, Plumbers,  Painters, Insulators, Ironworkers, Millwrights,Operating Engineers, Roofers, Sheet Metal Workers,and Electrical Workers.
