Early-bird registration ends Thursday, October 31. Conference registration is by credit card only, so log on to our store to secure your place at North America's best-attended and most dynamic literary conference. Also online, you can learn more about our keynote speaker, Annie Proulx, and the conference's other featured presenters, browse our growing list of exhibitors, and see the tentative list of accepted events. The full conference schedule will be available in late October.

Visit our hotel and travel page for information and updates. Our conference hotel, the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, is now sold out but plenty of rooms are still available at our overflow hotels, the Grand Hyatt and Westin Seattle.

Bookfair Exhibitors: Purchase Your Space and Add Your Link!
Thank you to all the exhibitors who have purchased exhibit space for #AWP14! We encourage you to add your magazine or organization's URL to your Exhibit Space Management page to maximize your visibility on our website and in the bookfair. Over 350 previous conference exhibitors have secured their spaces since our new purchasing system opened on July 1. The system is now open to all exhibitors, and sales will be ongoing until the bookfair sells out.
Pledge Your Sponsorship for #AWP14
Is your organization or institution interested in reaching over 12,000 AWP conference attendees while underwriting registration costs for our student members? Consider sponsoring #AWP14 in Seattle. Benefits include bookfair exhibit space, complimentary registrations, and conference program advertising. Over eighty writing programs, presses, and arts organizations have already pledged. Submit Your Nominations for the George Garrett and Small Press Publisher Awards
Do you know someone who has shown exceptional generosity to the next generation of writers? Nominate him or her for the 2014 George Garrett Award for Outstanding Community Service in Literature. Also, nominate your favorite literary journal for the 2014 AWP Small Press Publisher Award. Nominations for both awards must be sent by September 15.
Nominate Your Students' Works to AWP's Intro Journals Project
Program directors, submit your nominations for the Intro Journals Project, a literary competition for the discovery and publication of the best new works by students currently enrolled in AWP member programs, by Monday, December 2. Selected works will appear in Artful Dodge, Colorado Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Iron Horse Literary Review, Mid-American Review, Puerto del Sol, Quarterly West, and Tampa Review.
