Merge Records artists Crooked Fingers have been officially added to the Thursday night lineup, sharing the ticket with The Olivia Tremor Control.

Eric Bachmann (also of Archers of Loaf) writes, records, and performs songs under the name Crooked Fingers. Though he resides in Los Angeles, he spends much of his time in Athens, GA, where he recorded last year's brilliant Breaks in the Armor at The Bakery with Matt Yelton (live sound engineer for the Pixies) throughout the winter of 2010/2011, enlisting the help of Liz Durrett on backing vocals. It’s a cohesive and diverse set of songs with less adorned and more direct and affecting arrangements. Beautifully understated, artfully phrased, and ultimately a paean to perseverance, the album seems to suggest that the breaks in the armor are more important than the armor itself.

Astronautalis (aka Andy Bothwell) will be performing Saturday morning at the return of the highly competitive "K's vs W's Kickball Showdown."  It should come as no surprise that there will be live music at the big kickball game.  What will make this year even more special is that Astronautalis will also be calling the game for all attendees, fulfilling Bothwell's lifelong dream of being a baseball announcer.
The weekend will culminate in a Team Clermont tradition, the Prom, to be held at The Melting Point on Saturday night.  A favorite for out-of-towners and locals alike, the Prom takes the attendees back to the times of cover bands, questionable outfits, photo booths and punch bowls, without all of the awkwardness of being a teenager. Get ready to dance, as Yacht Rock Revue performs a set of 80s cover songs they call "Reagan Rock Prom!"
In addition to these events, 2012 marks our first record fair with Team Clermont's label partners, individual local vendors and community record store friends.
Team Clermont has secured a block of rooms at a reduced rate at The Foundry Park Inn & Spa, where The Melting Point is located, so attendees can sleep within stumbling distance from Prom.

We would also like to announce official partnerships with our friends at MailChimpJittery Joe's and Merge Records! Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
