This season is full of Love, Learning, and Music  Have you heard about our upcoming teamwork with the Both Hands Project?  How about our first public school music education program? Keep reading to find out more!

Have you ever needed to be rescued?  We all need rescue at some point.  For this brother-sister duo, rescue was needed early on in life.  Unfortunately, they have experienced some trauma.  Fortunately, they are in a loving home and adoption is underway!  

Love Learning Music has gifted a brand new piano keyboard, and we will be setting up an electronic drum kit in the home very soon.  This is in preparation for music therapy sessions with our Program Director, soon to be Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Jean-Pierre Leroy!

How did music education have a positive impact on your life?  For the students at Valor Collegiate Academies, (three charter schools, inner-city Nashville), there is no in-school music education.  This fall, Love Learning Music is providing music education for all three schools, with the hope to grow the program to provide impactful music education for all the students in this charter school network. 

Our amazing team has been performing during the student lunches to generate interest in our programs.  We have done activity fairs outside at the communal recreation area, and our waiting lists are full.  The choir class started this past week, with Rock Band Ensemble and Orchestra Ensemble planned to start this week!  We are still searching for volunteers who can come mentor students to help our teaching team connect with every child, as our classes involve the students being split up into small groups to learn. 

Classes are after school for this year.  The school has asked Love Learning Music to help create an impactful music education program with hopes to have classes during the school day!  To find out more details, please click this button and sign-up to volunteer, so we can get you plugged in to help!

1. After School Music Classes @ Valor Collegiate Academies 

   • Mon. & Thurs. @ 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Fridays @ 1:45 - 5:00 pm. 

   • Needs:  Help mentor children ages 10-18 in Choir, Orchestra, & Rock Band!

2. Both Hands Project 

   • Letter Stuffing Party:  Sept. 12 @ 1:00 pm
     Address:  612 W Due West Ave. Nashville, TN 37115

   • Widow Service Project:  Oct. 9 @ 9:00 am

   • Needs:  Volunteers who can commit to sending out sponsorship letters to 20-50 people you know and love!  The event is serving a local widow and raising the sponsorship funds for adoption & orphan care (LLM Music Ed & Creative Wellness programs)!

3. Administration Help for Love Learning Music

   • Dates and times are dependent on your schedule.

   • Needs: Fundraising, Accounting, and all kinds of behind-the-scenes administrative work!  Please sign-up and mention Admin, so we can follow up with details.  This is necessary and can be fun!  We are a growing team, and the key is teamwork!

4. Join the LLM Founding Partners Team

   • Our Founding Partners Team is a growing group of caring, committed people who give wisdom, wealth, and time to directly empower youth who are becoming passionate pioneers of change through our After School Program.

   • Needs:  Generous giving, and encouragement for more loved ones to join our mission :)
