Der September stand ganz im Zeichen der IRO Weltmeisterschaft für Rettungshunde. Es war ein fairer Bewerb, geprägt von Leistung, Leidenschaft und Kameradschaft. Wir bedanken uns bei jedem Einzelnen, vom Organisationsteam über die Teilnehmer und zahlreichen Helfer bis hin zu unseren Richtern, für den Einsatz.

WM Rückblick & Ergebnisse
|
|
Vom 15. bis 18. September fand im rumänischen Craiova die 26. IRO Weltmeisterschaft für Rettungshunde statt, ausgetragen von der IRO Mitgliedsorganisation Centrul National Educare Canina (CNEC). 80 Teilnehmer aus 15 Nationen gingen in der Fährten-, Flächen- und Trümmersuche an den Start. Die herausfordernden Prüfungen fanden auf sehr guten Geländen statt. Besonders freut uns, dass auch einige Besucher die WM zum Anlass nahmen, Rettungshunde einmal hautnah zu erleben.
Im Rahmen der Abschlusszeremonie wurden die diesjährigen Sieger gekürt und die Wandertrophäe für den WM-Ausrichter von Liviu Ionescu, Präsident von CNEC, feierlich an den Rettungshunde Verband Österreich (RHVÖ) überreicht.
Dem Team von CNEC ist es gelungen, eine erfolgreiche Veranstaltung auf die Beine zu stellen, welche Teilnehmer und Besucher gleichermaßen begeisterte.

Disqualifikation
Aufgrund eines Vorfalls während der Unterordnung wurde Frau Karin Strasser-Brett (SVÖ) mit Ehbana Lobo Grande disqualifiziert. Es wurde per IRO Vorstandsbeschluss eine einjährige Sperre für alle IRO Prüfungen verfügt.

Qualifikation für IRO WM 2023
|
|
Für die Anmeldung zur IRO WM 2023 werden neben Prüfungen, die bei IRO Richtern abgelegt wurden, erneut nationale FCI Prüfungen mit internationalen FCI Richtern, die innerhalb des Qualifikationszeitraums vom 18. September 2022 bis 30. Juni 2023 abgelegt und mit mindestens “gut” bewertet wurden, akzeptiert.

Änderung im Referat für Marketing & PR
|
|
Vedran Vukomanović, unser Referent für Marketing und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, zieht sich aus persönlichen Gründen mit sofortiger Wirkung von seiner Vorstandstätigkeit zurück.
Wir danken ihm sehr herzlich für seine Tätigkeit in den letzten fünf Jahren und freuen uns, dass er der IRO als Richter erhalten bleibt.
Bisher wurde noch kein Nachfolger bestimmt. Sollte jemand aus den Mitgliedsorganisationen Interesse haben sich einzubringen, bitten wir um Kontaktaufnahme per E-Mail an office@iro-dogs.org.

September was marked by the IRO World Championship for Search and Rescue Dogs. It was a fair competition, characterised by performance, passion and camaraderie. We would like to thank each and every one, from the organising team to the participants, the numerous helpers and our judges, for their commitment.

From 15 to 18 September, the 26th IRO World Championship for Search and Rescue Dogs took place in Craiova, Romania, organised by the IRO member organisation Centrul National Educare Canina (CNEC). 80 participants from 15 nations competed in Tracking, Area and Rubble Search. The challenging tests took place on very good terrain. We are especially pleased that so many visitors took the opportunity to experience search and rescue dogs at close quarters.
During the closing ceremony, this year's winners were crowned and the challenge trophy for the WCH host was officially presented to the Rettungshunde Verband Österreich (RHVÖ) by Liviu Ionescu, President of CNEC.
Thanks to the team of CNEC, the event was a success and both participants and visitors enjoyed it.

Due to an incident during Obedience, Karin Strasser-Brett (SVÖ) was disqualified with Ehbana Lobo Grande. By decision of the IRO Executive Board, a one-year ban for all
IRO Tests was imposed.

Qualification for
IRO WCH 2023
|
|
For the registration for the IRO WCH 2023, in addition to tests taken with IRO Judges, national FCI tests with international FCI Judges, taken within the qualification period from 18 September 2022 to 30 June 2023 and rated at least "good", will again be accepted.

Vedran Vukomanović, our Spokesperson for Marketing and PR, is retiring from his position on the Executive Board with immediate effect for personal reasons.
We thank him very much for his work in the last five years and are happy that he will continue to work as a judge for the IRO.
No successor has been appointed yet. Should anyone from the member organisations be interested in becoming involved, please contact us by email at office@iro-dogs.org.
