LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
At long last, spring has come to New York City and our Chapter is kicking off the season with many exciting programs scheduled over the next few months. I invite you to check our website and mobile app for a full schedule of upcoming opportunities.
March was a full month for the Chapter with a busy schedule of events. On Thursday, March 12th, Mary Speed-Perri, MBA, CFM and IFMA Certified Instructor held a CFM information session at Arenson Office Furnishings. Attendees took away an in-depth outline of the requirements and application process for the credential exam. Members and friends of our chapter went on an exclusive NFL Headquarters tour on Thursday, March 19th led by NFL Creative Director, Shandon Meldon. The Facility Manager Idea Exchange event was held Wednesday, March 25th, and was a great success as many industry connections and relationships were made.
The next Members-Only Networking Breakfast will be held on Thursday, April 16th at Knoll. This event provides members with an opportunity to network in small groups, helping each other find more opportunities for business by giving and receiving qualified introductions. On Wednesday, May 20th we are hosting a special evening at Citi Field for a behind-the-scenes tour followed by a Mets game. Join us on Wednesday, May 27th as IFMA Cares hosts our second annual St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital happy hour fundraiser at Public House. Please visit our event calendar for more information on all these exciting events.
As always, I’d like to sincerely thank all of our members and friends for the ongoing dedication to maintaining IFMA New York City Chapter’s reputation as the premier organization for Facility Managers and Professionals in the New York Metropolitan Area.
