LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
I hope you are enjoying the beginning of the summer. I would like to announce the upcoming IFMA NYC programming and special events calendar.
On June 13, 2016 we held The Future of FM: Transparency and Metrics – Featuring Dr. Dean T. Kashiwagi at Skanska where attendees learned where the FM management industry is headed and how to stay ahead.
On Wednesday, July 13, 2016 we will be celebrating World FM Day to raise the profile of the FM profession anywhere FMs influence the health, safety, productivity and well-being of people who utilize the built environment. The same day, IFMA Cares will be hosting the 3rd Annual Happy Hour Fundraiser Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Suite 36 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Registration for the event is now open and pre-sale 50/50 raffle tickets can be purchased online.
The IFMA foundation Fundraiser and Wine Tasting Social will take place on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Time, Inc. This annual event supports Facility Management higher education, students studying Facility Management and related fields, research critical to the profession, and increasing awareness of facility management and making FM a career of choice. Save the date for our Annual Golf Outing on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Knollwood Country Club, registration opening soon.

As an example, we are considering holding an event related to BREXIT (UK vote to leave the European Union) news and its potential impact but would like to hear from you if this is of interest.

- Fraternite Notre Dame Toy Drive: Approximately 400 toys
- St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: $16,000
