AVCLP Leadership Lunch - Tim Costello
AVCLP alumni, sponsors and supporters are invited to a Leadership Luncheon with World Vision CEO, Tim Costello.
When: Thursday 30th October, 12noon to 2pm
Where: Gateway Quality Hotel, Wangaratta
Cost: $40 per head, $5 from each ticket sale to be donated to World Vision
A light lunch will be served. Drinks at bar prices.
AVCLP 2014-15 Program commences
The 2014 -15 Alpine Valleys Community Leadership Program kicked off on 25th and 26th July, with its Opening Retreat. Held at the Lake Hume Resort, Albury, AVCLP welcomed 23 participants to this year’s program. The participants have been recruited from all parts of the region, including Mansfield and Benalla in the west, and Cudgewa (near Corryong) in the east. AVCLP Board member, Lisbeth Long, addressed the group on behalf of the Board, and four of last year’s graduates spoke to the participants about the impact that AVCLP had made on them.
The group’s first Program day will be held on Friday 8th August, and the program will conclude with Graduation on the 21st May 2015. Topics that the group will examine this year include: young people, land use planning and agriculture, and culture and diversity. The Board and staff wish all this year’s participants all the best as they complete their leadership journey over the coming ten months.
