 Tasty RHS Hops Make RawHyde

Our friends at RHS Hyde Hall Gardens have once again grown a bumper harvest of hops, so, for the second year running Brentwood Brewery is pleased to be brewing RawHyde 4.3% ABV, a green-hopped beer. RawHyde will be available at Woodfest on 5th & 6th November, the RHS Hyde Hall event that celebrates the natural beauty of wood and the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness - Autumn.

RHS Hyde Hall Horticulturist Matthew Oliver said:  “Although the hop plants are just three years old they have established well and this year I harvested  seven kilos, which is the most I’ve ever had from them.

“I’m really pleased that  Brentwood Brewing Company will once again be making more RawHyde for the Autumn season.  It was a big hit with visitors to the garden and was in fact the best-selling beer in the Hyde Hall Shop.”

Entrance to Woodfest is free for RHS members and a family guest.  Usual admission prices apply for non-members.  See website:  www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/hyde-hall.

Everyone's being encouraged to visit their local during British Pub Week, 28th October - 5th November. The event is being held to celebrate one of the nation's finest and much loved institutions, the Great British pub, and to recognise the role pubs play in serving local communities. For more details see  www.britishpubweek.org.uk.
At Brentwood Brewery we agree our great, local pubs need to be cherished and supported which is why we showcase a different one each month in our Pub of the Month feature.
