Cine-Gigs - Hungarian Rhapsody

Fancy seeing Queen perform live?

Simon Drake's House of Magic

You’re just a poor boy and nobody loves you.

And to make it worse, you probably missed out on Queen’s infamous stadium gig in Budapest in 1986 too, didn’t you?

But fret not, lonely peasant. Because Queen are back and playing live (ish) for one glorious night only.

Screening the band’s momentous concert movie, ‘Hungarian Rhapsody: Queen Live in Budapest’, The o2 Academy Islington will be transformed into an immersive concert set, complete with 5.1 surround sound speakers, a giant screen and an all-standing rock-ready crowd.

We are the Champions, Crazy Little Thing Called Love…Bohemian ruddy Rhapsody – prepare for some serious head thrashing.

From the creators of the Rooftop Film Club, the evening is hosted by Cine-Gigs; who bring legendary live gigs to the big screen, so you too can re-live the most iconic gigs of years gone by. Teaming up with London’s premier rock and pop night, Club de Fromage, guests of the experience are invited to an after party of epic proportions. Think wigs, fancy dress, big tunes, and of course, plenty of air-guitar action.

To the 80s!

Hungarian Rhapsody - Queen live in Budapest '86 is taking place on 10th May 2014 at the O2 Academy Islington. For more information and booking, click here.
