Suspects, Lunatics and a Leather Apron

No but srsly; whodunnit?

Most of us are well versed in the haunting tale of an unrelenting sociopath in the city, who over several years had a monumental impact on the lives of ordinary Londoners.

There's no question that Boris Johnson really did divide opinion during his tenure as Mayor.

But long before his bumbling mishaps, there was a man guilty of heinous crimes, who ignited fear across the entire city and beyond.

Dogged by a series of grisly and mysterious murders, Whitechapel in 1888 was a dark, dangerous place, firmly under the intense glow of the media spotlight.

...but you needn't take our word for it: because you're going to experience it for yourself.

An immersive production taking its guests on a uniquely-interactive adventure, starting just before the news of two deeply-disturbing murders, Suspects, Lunatics and a Leather Apron promises surprises, brilliant set-design and an ever-evolving plot.

As a guest you'll assume one of three important roles: a hard-working member of H-Division (the police force in Whitechapel at the time), a vigilante fanatic out to solve the mystery before the police, or one of the many impoverished residents living in the area. You'll ask questions, interrogate other characters, and maybe even have to prove your own innocence a few times too.

On your journey through a make-shift 19th century east London, you'll uncover the stories of Whitechapel's residents, stop in for a drink at traditional Victorian boozers, and delve head-first into one of the capital's most macabre series of events.

Well, if you dare to that is.

'Suspects, Lunatics and a Leather Apron' starts on 27th October, just in time for Halloween, then runs on various dates until 19th November.
