Christmas list or not; Santa doesn't always bring us exactly what we want.
...but those who specifically asked for a sparkly new rooftop bar - promising delicious food, bespoke cocktails and incredible views of London's skyline - are very much in luck.
Located on the 10th floor of the new Montcalm Royal London House in Finsbury Square, the sky-high Aviary opened earlier this month, possibly as a reward to the good people of London for putting up with all the awful nonsense that 2016 brought.
Fronting a bold British food menu and a list of botanically-inspired cocktails, the 6,000 sq ft hangout is separated by a luxe central bar, dividing the venue between its restaurant, lounge bar, and of course, stylish heated rooftop terrace. On top of its vantage point looking out to London's most iconic buildings, this alfresco space has been designed with the same leafy theme as the rest of the venue, featuring colourful furniture, hanging plants and outdoor heaters aplenty.
Because, well: weather.
As an extra gift, we've also secured two separate offers, only for those who book via DesignMyNight. Make a reservation for two to four people for dinner, and you'll receive 50% off your food bill, OR, book in for two to four people at the bar, and they'll match whatever your first round is, for another one completely free. For all bookings between 3rd - 24th January 2017.
Aviary is located on the 10th floor at the Montcalm Royal London House, 22-25 Finsbury Square, London, EC2A 1DX.
