Like it or not, Christmas is only 35 days away.
But that’s okay.
Thanks in the main, to the arrival of the South Pole Saloon.
Firmly leaving the tedious niceties of the Yuletide season at the door, this cheeky winter pop-up celebrates the dark side of Christmas, combining immersive theatre experiences, mouth-watering street food, and most importantly, plenty of booze.
A venture from the brains behind some of the UK’s best festivals and the sell-out success of London’s Heart Break Hotel, The South Pole Saloon is themed around a legendary dive bar in Father Christmas’ hood, home to only the most debauched of elves.
Hosted from a covered rooftop space in the heart of Brixton, you can expect a heady DJ line-up, interactive performances from Zebedee Productions and street food from Dip & Flip, Crust Conductor, Butchies and Papi’s Pickles. Brooklyn Brewery will be on hand with the drinks, accompanied by a bespoke sharing cocktail offering made up of rum punches, hot toddies and smoking chocolate concoctions.
Ho ho hope you can make it.
The South Pole Saloon opens tonight and opens on various dates until 23rd December, hosted at Valentia Place, Brixton, SW9. Queue jump tickets are advisable and are just £3. Private booths are also available for groups, click below for more info.
