Synaesthesia: “best described as a 'union of the senses' whereby two or more of the five senses that are normally experienced separately are involuntarily and automatically joined together”.
Listen up, foodie and art aficionados!
Your time is now.
For two nights only and taking place next weekend, you’re invited to try out one of London’s most unique pop-up dining experiences; 50:50.
Showcasing beautiful food, incredible art and experimental cocktails, the event is hosted from creative space Dalston Department Store and runs with the 50:50 theme in mind for every aspect of the evening. Expect plenty of art and food in equal measures, as well as a 50% cooked and 50% raw food menu.
The brainchild of a top London chef (Will Henning) and an up-and-coming Estonian artist (Meru Art), the whole event’s mantra is “chew no evil, bite no evil, swallow no evil” so you can bet your bottom dollar the sustainably sourced and organic food is going to be as pleasing as the art.
To those of you worrying about your 5 a day; fret not, seriously. Each sumptuous course is paired with a specially crafted fruit or veg cocktail too. Phew.
Equality is the best.
This one off event runs next Friday and Saturday only. Early Bird Tickets are £40 and include dinner, cocktails and Prosecco on arrival. Buy your ticket online.
