In a recent survey it was revealed that 100% of men in London prefer beer to their girlfriends, children or anyone/thing else*.
And who can blame them.
In scary unison with our incontrovertible findings, Craft Beer Rising is returning to London for its third year, kicking off tonight. Taking over Brick Lane’s Old Truman Brewery from this evening through to Sunday, the event will see over 150 breweries showcase more than 500 unique craft beers – all ripe for the tasting.
Stumble Peruse your way around 75 beer-stands where you’ll not only get a chance to try out as many ales as you like, you can also gain a little more insight into how they're made, and if you like - put an order in for more of your own.
Peckish? As well as drinking your way around the brewery, you can also treat your tastebuds to some of London's finest street food pop-ups while you're there too, including grub from Fleisch Mob, Dosa Deli, Meat Merchants, Prairie Fire BBQ and Moons Green Charcuterie.
As if they hadn't already done enough to make your February, with each evening Craft Beer Rising will host an all-out party with music from The Doctor’s Orders (Thursday), Andy Smith of Portishead fame (Friday), Jazzie B (Saturday) and Donn Letts (Sunday).
