Unknown Pleasures

Tasty Chow, Delicious Drinks and Silly Dancing

Lovers of art, music, food and free taxis: read on.

Hosted from the Pure Evil Department Store, Unknown Pleasures is a four-day sensory fest combining tasty food, delicious drinks, awesome music and crazy-ass art. Try out expertly mixed cocktails on arrival courtesy of a one Mr Lyan (of White Lyan fame), before chowing down on delectable snacks from the guys at Disco Bistro. Once settled, you'll be left to peruse the event's art installations, which feature previously unseen Andy Warhol work.

And that’s not all.

A whopping three-course feast is next on the cards, prepared by Carl Clarke; whose previous successes include Disco Bistro, God Save The Clam and Rock Lobsta. Think Cornish sashimi, camel oyster, apple kimchi…and seaweed crack.

AND THAT’S NOT ALL.

Suitably full of food and cocktails, the time for dancing will arrive. Various DJs will be gracing the bill over the four days; from reggae legend Don Letts to disco darling Sophie Lloyd, Cuban Brothers' DJ Kengo to Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard.  And as if the cherry wasn't already well and truly poised on the top of your cake, to top it off, talk-of-the-moment taxi app Uber will be providing everyone with a free £20 cab home.

And that's actually all.

Disco Bistro and Pure Evil Present Unknown Pleasures is running from Thursday 10th-Sunday 13th July at the Pure Evil Department Store. Thursday tickets are now sold out. Tickets include a welcome cocktail and a three course meal.
