When four brilliant minds come together, great things can happen.
The Fantastic Four saved the world. Little Mix have rescued the pop industry. And now, a team of four brilliant, world-renowned industry superstars have joined forces to bring London a forward-thinking new cocktail bar, promising stylish design, quick service, and no fuss (but spectacular) mixology.
Striking a balance somewhere between your friendly neighbourhood local and a top end reservations-only joint, Swift is the brainchild of two nightlife power couples; Bobby and Mia - who honed their skills at Callooh Callay, Milk and Honey and Dead Rabbit (recently voted the world's best bar) - together with Edmund and Rosie, the unstoppable force behind London's acclaimed Nightjar and its equally revered sister bar, Oriole.
Located in the heart of Soho and split over two floors; the upstairs of the new hangout will see a standing-only space, where the focus is on swift service. Ideal for quick stop-ins and with a menu of crisp martinis, the bar will also serve a fresh selection of oysters and other small plates. Those sticking around a little longer can venture downstairs, where they'll be greeted with a more decadent affair, fronting Art Deco fixtures, table service and a menu leaning more towards darker, complex spirits. On top of the cocktails, the downstairs bar also offers an affordable but intricate selection of drams as part of their 'Whisky Library', plus live music and piano sessions come the weekend.
Fancy a swift one?
More good news: we've secured a free drink for all DesignMyNight pre-bookings in December. Just make a reservation between now and the end of the month, and you'll be rewarded with a taster cup of one of their specially-created Winter Bishop Cocktails.
Swift bar is now open, and is located at 12 Old Compton Street, London, W1D 4TQ.
