Ancient philosopher and all round lager-naut Confucius once said:
'Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it'.
Now, many (incorrectly) assumed he was referring to the innate beauty to be found in every person, experience, thing and moment.
However, cleverly; he was actually talking about hot G&Ts.
A point not wasted on the stylish Ham Yard Hotel in Soho, who have transformed their secret roof terrace into a winter pop-up fronting woollen blankets, impressive city views and yep, their very own winter take on the humble G&T.
With the help (and booze) of award winning London gin favourites, Sipsmith, this sell-out pop-up delves deep into London's drinking past, promising anything from 16th century-inspired libations to Charles Dickens' favourite tipple - all hosted from the Ham Yard's sky-high cosy hideaway.
Some sad news though: unfortunately for you and the rest of London - this elusive roof garden's initial run of dates from 26th January - 14th February completely sold out in a matter of days.
Some good news though: fortunately for you and the rest of London (and here's where we come in) - the pop-up is now running for an extra four dates (17th-20th February), and the tickets, as of right this second, have just been released.
So get 'em.
Swan On A Hot Gin Roof is located atop the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho, until 20th February. Your ticket includes your first drink and an introduction by one of the Sipsmith Distillery Team.
