Wine & Spirits Magazine named them in the top 100 Wineries in the world 27 years in a row. Find out why on Friday Oct. 4th. Sample the Wine from Penfolds from Australia from 6p-9p. You will be getting deal pricing tonight only, plus an additional 10% off!
First, Max's 2017 South Australian Chardonnay. Put away any preconceived notions of chardonnay with this one...
Very pale straw in color, this wine offers an amalgam of aromatics working in harmony -- primarily yellow stone fruit (nectarine) and honeydew melon with soft pistachio nougat (and, enchantingly/unexpectedly from this white grape variety, blueberry!). Barely recognizable savory French oak imparts a sensitive touch to sign off on a complex and appealing nose. A soft and delicate mouth coating/laminated acidity fills out the palate and gently conveys the fermented spoils of Adelaide Hills Chardonnay. The wine shows a citrus edge, with lime splice and finger lime sweetness. It also offers enticing teacake sponge flavors varietally laced with finely grated lemon zest.
James Suckling - 92 POINTS & Jeb Dunnuck - 90 POINTS Regularly $22.59, Tonight $18.99

Next Max's South Australia 2016 Cabernet
Dark red with a magenta core, the Max's Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas
of red currants, cranberry, and dried Italian herbs. Red, blue and black
fruits melded with sweet spiced cinnamon on the palate with a touch of
vanilla chai and cedar oak. Fine, silky tannins add savory balance and
length to the palate.

James Suckling - 91 POINTS & Jeb Dunnuck - 90 POINTS Regularly $22.59, Tonight $18.99

Bin 28 2016 Kalimna Shiraz
Bin 28 offers a showcase of warm-climate Australian Shiraz – ripe, robust and
generously flavoured. First made in 1959, Bin 28 is named after the famous
Barossa Valley Kalimna Vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine was originally sourced. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with Barossa Valley always well represented.

91 POINTS - Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, James Suckling
90 POINTS - Wine Spectator & Jeb Dunnuck Regularly $33.99, Tonight $31.59

BOOOOOYAAAA! the 2016 Bin 389 Shiraz Cab
Bin 389 was often referred to as ‘Baby Grange’, in part because components
of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of
Grange. First made in 1960 by the legendary Max Schubert, this was the
wine that helped forge Penfolds reputation with red wine drinkers by com-
bining the structure of cabernet sauvignon with the richness of shiraz.

96 POINTS - James Suckling
94 POINTS - Decanter

Regularly $72.59, Tonight ONLY $40.59
