Women*s History Month is observed annually every March. At MSU, many departments, campus groups, and student organizations have created events to showcase during the month of March. In our use of “women” we recognize that gender is complex. We are all more than just our gender - we are comprised of myriad intersecting identities, each grounded in social context, history, and our lived experiences. We look forward to you joining us at any of the events linked in the calendar!

W*SS WALK IN HOURS
This week and next week in W*SS, all students are welcome to stop by our office to relax and find community and support. We will have movies, snacks, coloring, games, and a dog to pet! Stop by any time during our office hours and hang out.

Join us after Spring Break for our next movie night on March 16th where we will be showing The Farewell to celebrate APIDA heritage Month. Come to the RCAH Theater in Snyder Phillips from 7-9 Pm and enjoy the film with friends.

Michigan State University's office of Women*s Student Services is pleased to present LUNAFEST®, a program of short films that empower and inspire. This year’s stories are told from a variety of perspectives that champion women and gender nonconforming individuals, highlighting their aspirations, accomplishments, resilience, strength, and connection.
All members of the university and campus community are invited to join us in person on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7 p.m. in the RCAH Theater in the basement of Snyder Hall. Tickets are FREE.

Join GWIS and participate in the bi-weekly writing group from 5-7 pm in room 6199 BPS (Biomedical Physical Science building).

LGBTQIA2s+ Student Experience Study
WE WANT TO LEARN FROM YOU
The Gender and Sexuality Campus Center, along with campus stakeholders, are administering a comprehensive study to gain vital information about how LGBTQIA2S+ students experience Michigan State University. We are seeking input from LGBTQIA2S+ students at all academic levels: undergraduate, graduate, and professional. Students who complete an online survey will receive two dollars ($2) in Sparty cash. After completing the online survey, participants will be asked their interest in joining an optional focus group at a later date. Participants who join a focus group will receive twenty-dollars ($20) in Sparty cash upon completing the focus group. There is no obligation to participate in the focus group. Wellness Ambassador Program, Spring 2023
Thursdays, February 16-March 30, 7-8:30pm Erickson Kiva
The Wellness Ambassador Program (WAP) is a 6-week workshop series in which leaders from various wellness related units on campus (Counseling and Psychiatric Services, Employee Assistance Program, Center for Survivors, Health4U, Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities, and Graduate Student Life & Wellness) have conversations with wellness ambassadors (graduate students) about wellbeing. The program aims to cultivate a space for international graduate students and those who work with international graduate students where they can discuss culturally responsive tools to advocate for the wellbeing of themselves and others.

The Queering Racial Justice Summit (QRJS) is a two-day event open to all students that is a dedicated space to discuss the connections between racial and LGBTQIA2S+ justice! What do we need to learn and unlearn in order to achieve liberation? Where can we find joy in activism? What do we need to do now in order to build a better future?
