Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 9, 2018, we are joining forces with the Roosevelt Avenue Businesses Coalition to ask NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio and DOT Commissioner Polly Trottenberg to end the Clear Curbs initiative immediately.  Since the program was implemented on April 19, area businesses have seen a steep decline in clients and revenues. During this time, the City has also issued nearly 2,000 fines, that's $230,000 out of our working class communities, and towed many of our client's vehicles!

The Clear Curbs initiative prohibits parking and standing along Roosevelt Avenue between 90th Street and Broadway Avenue-- side streets businesses are being affected as well.  The initiative is hindering deliveries and driving away customers. The City claims that this is just a 6-month pilot program.  Given NYC high operating costs, our small, mom & pops shops can’t afford this City imposed pay cut.
