Have your say: BC Offset protocol consultation

The British Columbia government is accepting feedback on its proposed Draft Forest Carbon Offset Protocol (FCOPv2) until May 31st.

The purpose of this protocol is to quantify greenhouse gas emission reductions and removal enhancements by carbon sinks and reservoirs in forests.

The accompanying FCOP Technical Discussion Document provides a brief overview of the B.C. Offset Program, the contents of the draft protocol and identifies outstanding policy considerations.

Please submit any feedback by email to GHGRegulator@gov.bc.ca with the following subject line: “FCOP Feedback.”

The window for feedback closes May 31, 2021.
