Queen's Anniversary Prize Special Edition

Dear friends and colleagues,

This Special Edition of The Resource brings you a selection of news and media related to the Queen’s Anniversary Prize recently awarded to the University of Greenwich for NRI’s cassava work.

We are honoured to receive this prestigious award which applauds the excellence of our cassava programme, highlights the work and ethos of the Institute as a whole, and demonstrates NRI's close relationship with both cassava and Africa.

We are proud to share this honour with our partners and cassava smallholders around the world, with whom we have a long history of successful collaboration. Reflecting on lessons learned, we now look forward to future collaboration in cassava research and development, together with the global cassava community.

From plant to Palace: NRI's cassava work receives Queen's Anniversary Prize

For 25 years, NRI has been working to improve the cassava value chain, along its journey from farm to fork. Now that journey is taking NRI and cassava to Buckingham Palace – the official residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – for the presentation of the Queen's Anniversary Prize awarded to the University of Greenwich for NRI's cassava work.
