Join the conversation with Christians from charities, churches, business and government as we come together to continue our conversation on how we can work together to end homelessness. 

Join us for ‘An Invitation to Hope: Mission through Prayer and Lament’ on 9 February 2021, from 10 am to 11.30 am.

Lament isn’t something that comes easily to us. In our technologically advanced, goal-oriented society, we’d rather fix things than mourn them. But lament is deeply embedded in the text of the Bible, which is far more true to human nature than our culture often allows us to be. We need time and space to grieve for what we’ve lost. 

But we also need hope, and that’s the message uniquely offered in Scripture. That’s why Bible Society is running a webinar for Christian leaders aimed at reflecting on how we can respond to this cultural moment, and move beyond mourning to mission. 

We've been astounded by the amazing response to our creative Advent prayer encounters. Released on Youtube and Facebook, alongside a series of daily short advent prayers, together we are crying out to God to come and restore, comfort, heal and transform the places we live in and the people we care about.
