Where is God when you’re hurting? How can you experience him when you’re in trouble? How does he turn confusion or fear into clarity and peace? Many of the psalms begin in crisis and end with a testimony of God’s presence, power, and provision. By learning their truths and following their example, we can have the same kind of testimony. Christmas is a time that reminds us all that miracles really do happen, prayers are actually answered and that heaven is just one response away. Through the experiences of Mary, Joseph, Zecharias and Elizabeth, the shepherd and the wise men, this devotional explores the significance of the first Christmas and how it intersects with each of our lives today.
