Springtime Ushers In A Season Of Change

Ahhh, spring. 🌼

Also known as the spring equinox, prime temps, and many other synonyms we just learned about, this is the time of year when we collectively embrace change.

For many, it’s the perfect time to get outside and plant a garden or two. For others, it’s an opportunity to tidy up everything from the garage to their WordPress website.

And for one very special Geek, it’s a chance to begin a new journey (more below).

Has spring got you thinking about some changes you’d like to make, website-wise? If so, the Geeks are 100% here for it.

(Start your season of change by clicking the pretty, orange button below ⬇️.)
Let's make some ch-ch-ch-changes!

We 🧡 You Katy, Oh Yes We Do ...

CodeGeek team photo with orange hearts drawn around Katy
After eight, wonderful years at CodeGeek, our fellow Geek Katy Forte is now embarking on some brand-new adventures.

So, how did we decide to say "goodbye" to such an amazing teammate? With a 30-min, Katy-is-awesome sesh, of course!

Here are a few highlights from, like, a zillion:
  • “Katy is a combination of all the nifty things—super smart, organized, creative, a great communicator and, as always, fun!”
  • “Is there anything Katy can’t do?!?!”
  • “Katy’s awesomeness is never-ending.”
Katy is an incredible friend and a super talented developer and project manager, and we’re going to miss her greatly.

So raise a glass of New Belgium’s finest as we toast to all the new adventures that lie ahead for her.

Cheers, Katy! 🍻

👉 Looking Ahead To Memorial Day

Monday, May 31, is Memorial Day, so the Geeks will be offline for a day of remembrance.

If you have a website emergency on this day, email us at support@codegeek.net and we’ll get back to you in a jiffy.

For all other things, we’ll respond as soon as possible after we’ve plugged back in on Tuesday.

Project Highlight

Town of Frisco homepage
Town of Frisco - The Town of Frisco partnered with CodeGeek for their latest website redesign.

This was a monumental, two-year effort that included two separate site launches: their main website and a robust business directory web app.
Town of Frisco activity blocks on homepage
The main site project included hundreds of pages and events plus creating a much more streamlined editing and user experience.

We also built a new web app for their business directory, which directly populates that related section of the new website.

The Town of Frisco’s new site also showcases their breathtaking photography, and we can't wait to plan a visit for ourselves.
