Happy (Belated) Programmers Day!

In celebration of the 256th day of the year, we decided to step away from numbers for a while and post a few pics of our favorite puppers and marvel that fall sweaters for Shetland ponies are a thing.

In this issue:
  • Say "hello!" to our brand-new Geekmate Sofia! 👋
  • The tech we hope to see by 2042 🔬
  • Running any website deals for the holidays? 🛍

Welcome, Sofia!

Our newest Geek Sofia sitting in a boat on a lake. Behind her are two water planes and a beautiful blue sky.Sofia Antal joins the Geeks as our newest Project Manger. 🥳

For Sofia, however, project management is anything but new to her!

From aerospace to virtual reality to real estate, Sofia's breadth of PM know-how is enough to make our li'l geeky heads spin. 🤯

During the day, you might also find Sofia skydiving and working on her glider rating. At night, she's probably drinking from her large tea collection and dancing the Argentine tango (but not at the same time).

Welcome, Sofia! 👋

Back To The Future —> The Tech of 2042

Grid of four images showcasing future techEarlier this year, we put together a totally tubular photo album of righteous tech from our 20s.

Today, we’re turning off memory lane and taking a side trip to (what we hope is) the near future.

✅ Carbon capture
✅ Printed bones
✅ Human transporters
✅ And oh-so much more!

Doin' The BOP
Back in June, Congress introduced the American Data Privacy Protection Act, and it includes setting up a new Bureau of Privacy (BOP).

If it goes through, BOP could fundamentally change how consumer privacy is protected (and enforced) in the U.S.
