Still looking for that perfect gift? Then we've got just the site for you!

Fort Collins Marketplace launched just before Small Business Saturday, and it’s a virtual love letter to local Fort Collins businesses. 💌

By shopping at The Marketplace, you can show someone special that you care AND you can give back to the community.

This was a beautiful collaboration between CodeGeek and Visit Fort Collins, and we'll share more about this project next month.

✅ In the meantime, review your gift list, check out Fort Collins Marketplace and consider shopping local this season!

⛄️ The CodeGeek Team Built A Snowman App!

That's right! The Geeks have been busy in our workshops (er, at our workstations) building a custom snowman app just in time for the holidays.

We've included drawers of accessories, multiple backgrounds and even some holiday music. 🎵

So take our snowman app for a spin and see what comes to life! And if you need some inspiration, check out these snowy creations.

What We're Geeking Out About 🤓

We've put together a few delightful diversions to help keep you safely on the “nice” list this holiday season.
Blueprint of Santa's upgraded sleigh
Santa's Sleigh Goes High-Tech
While reindeer are indeed noble creatures, they’re a bit outdated as far as aviation technology goes.

So the engineers at GE Research decided to give Santa's sleigh a 21st-century upgrade.
SpaceX's SN8
SN8's High-Altitude Flight Test
Last week, SpaceX sent up Starship serial number 8 (SN8) for a high-altitude flight test, and we're still geeking out about it.

SN8 successfully ascended, transitioned propellant, and performed its landing flip maneuver. And then "it" happened.

Project Highlight

🎉 Break out the party hats because KindConnect turned 1!

More than a year ago, the KindConnect web application, which was built by the Geeks, went live—and since then it’s been helping match community resources with the children who need them most.

Realities for Children and CodeGeek partnered together to help make this web app dream come true, and we are so excited about the success that this program has seen in its first year alone.

In the first year of KindConnect:
  • 770 children in Larimer County were served!
  • 1,298 items worth $92,805 were donated.
  • 39 partner agencies helped connect real-time needs to those interested in helping the children and families they provide for.
Check out KindConnect for yourself!

And while you’re there, get all the details on NightLights, Realities for Children's annual holiday event.🎄You can watch their recorded live-streamed event and make an end-of-year contribution.

Holiday Closure Reminder: Dec 14-Jan 3

Yes indeedio! The Geeks' home offices will be closed the final three weeks of the year.

We’ll still be doing geekery things and monitoring for any website emergencies. For everything else, however, we’ll pick it all back up in the New Year.

We truly are looking forward to spending more time with our immediate families, and we hope you are too.

And if you need ideas for how to spend some of that extra time, might we suggest building a snowman?

Where In The World Are The Geeks?

A lot of us were in our kitchens for Thanksgiving testing out Jamie’s stuffing waffles recipe. Check out Ada’s golden, crispy results!

"We have worked with CodeGeek to design environmental public outreach sites under U.S. government contracts for several years. The unique requirements of these contracts made CodeGeek the clear choice.”
