Google Search Console Errors — True Or False?

Google's logo
Google has been actively developing and enhancing features of Google Search Console, which is a good thing. But there’s been a spike in error notifications showing up for site admins everywhere.

With all these new errors, how does a dutiful website admin know which ones to fix—and which ones to ignore?

What We're Geeking Out About

  • Leonardo da Vinci: 500 Years of Genius - A few of us have already geeked out over this incredible exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Be inspired now through August 25 by the surprising history of the Mona Lisa, hands-on models, and quotes such as this gem: “The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding.”
  • - Do you like weather and stunning data visualization? Then check out this app and be prepared to get your weather geek on. (Want more? Then check out this other wind map.)
  • Dad style programming jokes - Chris and David are our resident dad-joke savants, so the rest of us need to constantly brush up on those puns and plays on words that make you groan from deep within. These jokes catalogued on GitHub will help us “git” up to speed.

Welcome, Ada!

Ada, our newest GeekA self-described accountability junkie, Ada Piotrowski has an incredible knack for keeping projects moving forward. Good thing she’s joined the Geeks as our newest project manager (with exceptional business chops to boot).

Our resident yogi and Chihuahua lover is the latest addition to the CodeGeek team, and you can find her by following her infectious laugh. Welcome, Ada!

Project Highlight

Responsive site conversion: Wyoming Early Hearing Detection & Intervention (EHDI) — With over half their website audience coming from mobile devices, Wyoming EHDI was looking to better serve that audience.

Our team recently worked with Wyoming EHDI to convert their existing custom WordPress theme to be fully responsive.

Now their site is mobile-friendly and compatible with devices of all screen sizes—from mobile to tablet to desktop.

Where In The World Are The Geeks?

Jamie’s new puppy Cuya is all about extreme cuteness, and we thank him for bringing her into our lives.

The Geeks showed off their other geek side by dominating on the video game front at a recent team event at Pinball Jones.

Katy recently traveled through Europe for two weeks, with pitstops to see Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany (below) and teammate Marc in Zürich.

If you see a dude riding around town on this little orange scooter, that’s Jason. He loves it when you honk at him as you drive by.

“Things are working perfectly. The team did a seamless job, and I’m very happy. CodeGeek’s efforts allowed me to continue investing time in what I do best while CodeGeek did what they do best."
