CodeGeek - Crafting the Responsive Web

WordPress Powers 39.5% Of All Websites

WordPress homepage on laptop
Have you heard the news? (Well, our heading totally spilled the beans, but pretend you’re surprised.)

New data reveals that the WordPress CMS (content management system) is used by 39.5% of all sites on the web.

Whoa. 🤯

The CMSs that follow + their usage stats might also surprise you:
  1. Shopify – 3.2%
  2. Joomla – 2.2%
  3. Drupal – 1.5%
  4. Wix – 1.5%
  5. Squarespace – 1.5%
There are many reasons why WordPress is so popular, so we make it our business to keep up on the latest and greatest (including their latest: "Simone," version 5.6).

Rest assured that in spite of WordPress’ popularity, we Geeks are ecumenical, meaning we love working with all kinds of frameworks.

When it comes to the web, there’s always something fun for us to learn, try out, and see what solves your problems the best.
We love websites 100% of the time.

Pro Tip: Review Your Site On Mobile

In the hustle and bustle of everydayness, it's easy to forget to
check your website on mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.).

For a site to work well on mobile, it’s not enough to make everything just a tiny bit smaller.

You want to make sure your site visitors see everything no matter what device they're using
and find exactly what they need.

ARS homepage
Air Resource Specialists - Air Resource Specialists (ARS) has been a leader in air quality monitoring for 40 years. After a decade of showcasing their unique offerings on their previous site, they decided they were ready for their website to enter a new era.

The Geeks have had the privilege of working alongside ARS for many years, and we were totally stoked to bring their web presence up to speed with the latest industry trends and designs, including:
  • modern design using a mobile-first approach
  • content strategy for improved readability, SEO and customer journey
  • improved ability to use their website for marketing efforts
  • Bonus: We think the Services menu is really cool. 👍

The original site felt dated, and, together with the team at ARS, we were able to give it a beautiful facelift with brand-spankin’ new copy.

You could say their new site is a breath of fresh air. 💨

“We are so grateful and blessed to have had you say 'yes' to this journey. Someday, when we can all see each other in person, we can raise a glass in cheers together in gratitude.”
