Eighteenth Week of the Summer Share!




Share is In and will be ready for *walk-up* service at Noon.

 The Winter Share will Begin October 21.

 Sign Ups are available online now!


 You can sign up online or in the market.

The Winter season will feature Blue Sky & Crooked Sky Farm, and will last for 16 weeks. The Full Share is $512, and the Half Share is $256.

Local Composting Options:

 

 - Saturdays 10-2 at the Market of Dreams (4th St) 
- Sundays 10-2 at the Flagstaff Community Market 
- Community compost bins at the Izabel St and Bonito St Community Gardens
- Residential pick up through
Corbin Composting (this will have a membership fee)
- For more information, you can contact the Flagstaff Sustainability department at the city, and they may be able to provide more info about the Saturday and Sunday drop off points.

We are now opening to in person shopping on our open market days except Thursday


Pick Up Instruction for Thursdays:

 

  • Access to the market will be closed for in -person shopping. 

  • Place your orders online or over the phone for front door pick up. Please wait to pick up your order until after we've called you to confirm  the order and collect payment.

 Recipe:

Baba Ganoush

 

 

Love and Lemons

Ingredients

 

  • 2 medium eggplant

  • ¼ cup tahini

  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil more for serving

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

  • Finely chopped parsley, for garnish

  • Pinch of smoked paprika

  • Pinch of red pepper flakes, optional

  • Pita and veggies, for serving

 

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and wrap the eggplant in foil. Roast the eggplant for 50 to 60 minutes, or until it is soft and collapses to the touch. Remove from the oven and set aside.

  • Once cool to the touch, peel the skin from the eggplant, removing any big clumps of seeds. Place the flesh in a strainer over a bowl and let stand for 20 minutes to remove excess water.

  • Place the eggplant flesh, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and salt in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with chopped parsley, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes, if using. Serve with pita and veggies.
