Sixteenth Week of the Summer Share!




 Share is In and ready for Pick Up! 

What's in the Share:


Peppers
Tomatoes
Potatoes or Sweet Potatoes

Scallions or Radishes
Onions


 


We are nearing the end Summer Share! There are still spots available - you can sign up in the market.

We're hoping to have the signups for Winter Share available by next week! Stay tuned! The Winter Share will begin in five weeks, on October 24.



 

 


The Summer features Whipstone Farm, Crooked Sky, and Blue Sky Farm. It runs for 20 weeks, from early June through mid-October. Check out items in season during the summer.

We take EBT/SNAP! All food items are eligible for purchase with a SNAP card.



We now also offer Double Up Food Bucks. Receive free tokens whenever you swipe your EBT card at the CSA - tokens can then be used to purchase fresh Arizona grown fruits and vegetables.


 Recipe:

 

Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, stems removed

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet

  2. Add garlic and cook 1 minute, stirring frequently..

  3. Add the green beans, sea salt, and black pepper, and toss to coat green beans evenly.  Continue to saute for approx. 5-6 minutes. 

  4. Remove from heat and sprinkle grated parmesan. Toss once again until parmesan is melted.

Beef Share with Wineglass Ranch

 
 

We are looking for additional buyers to join us in purchasing a cow from Wineglass Ranch in Chino Valley. These cows are 100% grass fed, grass finished, humanely treated, free range. One fourth of a cow would be approximately 150lbs and around $700. Please note that anyone interested would be responsible for picking up the meat in a timely manner at the designated time and place, and writing a check to the farm ahead of time. The cow will be butchered in the next three weeks. Please send us an email if you're interested and we'll be in touch with more details!
