Join us for 2 Minute Day

Good morning,
How are you?
Are you ready for 2 Minute Day? We are! Tomorrow marks our second 2 Minute Day as a charity. To celebrate, our team will be meeting in Bude, Cornwall, at the beach where it all started, for a #2minutelitterpick and #2minutebeachclean followed by a plastic free picnic! We’ll be live on Instagram at 2pm. Log on and say hello.

Join us tomorrow at 2pm online for a plastic free picnic and a #2minutebeachclean or #2minutelitterpick. Don't forget to tag us in your pictures!
How to get involved on 2 Minute Day

Wherever you are in the world, gather up your family and friends and join us (social distancing rules allowing). Head to your favourite blue or green space, park or garden, or throw your windows open and enjoy a carpet picnic on your living room floor.
If you can’t get out to do a litter pick, that’s okay, just join us in spirit as we clean up the planet, 2 minutes at a time.
If you need to take 2 minutes for yourself, do it. A quiet #2minutesofpositivity doing something that makes you feel good can work wonders.
2 Minute Day is our chance to unite remotely as one big 2 Minute family. So we’d love to see your 2 minute posts throughout the day. Don’t forget to @ us in your stories and tag us.
Don’t forget to snap your plastic free feasts too – we’d love to see your #2minutesolution picnic. Think wax wraps, reusable water bottles, reusable pots and cotton napkins!
Happy 2 Minute Day!
Thank you for all of your support. Let’s clean up this planet 2 minutes at a time.
We wanted to finish today's email with a simple, heartfelt thanks to Kirsty King and The Sara King Ocean Taskforce for supporting us. The Sara King Ocean Taskforce is a charity set up in memory of Sara by her sister, Kirsty.
Sara was a passionate ocean advocate and set off to document a voyage across the Atlantic with two friends to record plastic pollution and raise awareness of its impact on the oceans. She had a passion, energy and thirst for life that was contagious, and this adventure suited her desire to live life to the fullest. Tragically, a storm overwhelmed their boat and claimed Sara’s life.
Kirsty needed to channel the pain of losing her sister and so has set up the charity to continue some of the incredible work that Sara was involved in.
The fundraiser Kirsty is doing for 2 Minute will adopt a beach cleaning station and provide equipment, training and recruitment for two Guardian Angels for one year.
From all of us, thank you Kirsty.
