Hey there 👋


One of the things I’ve learned about recently is time-anxiety. It’s the feeling that time is slowly slipping away through our fingers and never to be returned to us; yet, we all have so many things we still want to achieve. Many of us feel this on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis (I’m guessing most likely the latter). But commonly, this feeling is most pervasive during the final months of the year. 


I’m personally suffering a serious case of time-anxiety. I have many ideas I wanted to bring to life for this newsletter but other projects got in the way. This same anxiety led to my working on this too late (which is why this month’s newsletter is sent out half a day later than usual). It helps that this newsletter is called “25 on 25,” as it holds me accountable for sending this out into the world to you all by tonight. I am also using this opportunity to curate something that may help others feeling similar emotions, so hope you all enjoy it. 

Theme of this Month:
🏃 Last Sprint


I will always remember the last mile of my first half-marathon three years ago. After almost a full two hours of running non-stop, that final mile was one of the most difficult physical and mental challenges that I’ve endured. At this point, the soreness was so deeply entrenched in my calves and hamstrings that every additional step required the raw mental strength of perseverance and courage. But it was in completing that last mile that I understood the absolute euphoria of pushing our limits and coming out on the other side of the finish line, tired but very much alive - transcendent, even.


For this month’s playlist, I created a soothing “vibe” piece that is meant for you to listen to as you take on the remaining errands, work, projects, and goals that you have yet to finish but want to accomplish by the end of the year. 2020 may have kicked a lot of our asses, but we’re still in control of how we choose to finish this run. The pace of the playlist is specifically designed to help you focus, to get you to a flow state, and to help you finish that final mile. Good luck! 💪
