🏃 Last Sprint
I will always remember the last mile of my first half-marathon three years ago. After almost a full two hours of running non-stop, that final mile was one of the most difficult physical and mental challenges that I’ve endured. At this point, the soreness was so deeply entrenched in my calves and hamstrings that every additional step required the raw mental strength of perseverance and courage. But it was in completing that last mile that I understood the absolute euphoria of pushing our limits and coming out on the other side of the finish line, tired but very much alive - transcendent, even.
For this month’s playlist, I created a soothing “vibe” piece that is meant for you to listen to as you take on the remaining errands, work, projects, and goals that you have yet to finish but want to accomplish by the end of the year. 2020 may have kicked a lot of our asses, but we’re still in control of how we choose to finish this run.
