GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD;
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
Greetings from Cofradía, Mexico!
It was 25 years ago last month that I started my missionary adventures living abroad, that's more than half of my life! There have been many ups and downs, blessings and struggles, but the most important thing to me is to make sure I do my best to keep in tune with the Lord's guidance in my personal life, family life, and ministry. I'm not perfect, but I've grown. We've seen people be saved, healed, and delivered, and we've seen people reject the gospel and turn away. We've seen leaders raised up for the next generation and the blessing of locals taking ownership of the ministry.
Thank you for partnering with us. Some of you have been faithful donors and prayer warriors for the full 25 years! We are very grateful for you and thank the Lord for you regularly.
The past couple of months have been interesting. We had family visiting in December and made a quick trip to California to renew paperwork and visit more family. Emma and I also made a quick trip to Washington last month to help with some health issues my dad underwent; he is doing well.
Upon arriving in Mexico, apparently things worsened while we were gone in regards to the pandemic. Even though I have not seen life change much, there is an increased fear causing more closures, curfews, and suspension of activities; much like it was when we were in Washington a year ago when it first started.
This has affected us in a few of our activities. We continue to hold Sunday morning meetings, however we have cancelled our annual Valentine's Date Night for couples and suspended the Cofradía Kitchen for two weeks.
Jesus said, "I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last" (Rev. 22:13). Everything that happens in life is wrapped up in that statement. Those who confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior know that when Jesus was raised from the dead, he won the victory over death, hell, and the grave. Jesus made it possible for you and I to enter into that "rest" of victory. We need not fear.

Revival in America. One of the things I've learned these past 25 years is that Mexico generally follows the United States' lead regarding morality and systems. Revival starts with you and me.
God's continued guidance in our family and ministry.
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever!
WE LOVE YOU ALL!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
